How to prepare a chart screenshot for better analysis

A clean, honest chart image gives an AI analysis more useful context. You do not need a perfect chart—just a readable one.

Keep the important frame visible

Include the symbol, timeframe, price scale, and enough candles to show the recent move. Avoid cropping away the context that explains why the chart caught your attention.

Make labels and annotations legible

If you use trend lines, zones, or notes, keep them visible without covering the candles. A high-resolution screenshot is usually easier to inspect than a compressed image sent through multiple apps.

One clear question helps

Before uploading, decide what you want to understand: the current structure, a level reaction, or the conditions around two possible scenarios. A focused question makes the explanation easier to evaluate.

What to avoid

  • Do not send an image so tightly cropped that the timeframe or scale disappears.
  • Do not treat a screenshot with old data as a live market feed.
  • Do not include passwords, account balances, or other private information.
  • Do not use the output as personalized financial advice.
